Calatayud is a wine-growing region located 90 km south of Zaragoza. It is part of the Sistema Ibérico mountain range made up of valley mountains and their foothills and sculpted by several tributaries of the Ebro River. It has stony and very nutrient-poor soils with a high proportion of limestone, which are perfect for viticulture. The vineyards grow on the slopes of the mountains between 600 and 1,040 metres. Las Pizarras is a collection to discover the potential of this region. Each wine is intended to give you a sip of the different terroirs and grapes.
